Story

Hi guys

Thanks for taking the time to read this if you've got this far, and thankyou for any donations. It means alot to me.

For those who don't know me, I lost my wonderful dad in July 2016 to acute myeloid leukemia. If it wasn't for Cure Leukaemia and their amazing work, we wouldn't have had an extra year with dad.

He left a huge void that can never be filled. After losing dad, I have battled through mental health with more lows than I care to remember. Now almost 7 years have passed, it hasn't gotten easier but I've learnt to live without him. In the last 16 months I have lost 6 stone, and have found a love for keeping fit. This itself would make dad so proud, but I want to make him even prouder and raise as much as possible for Cure Leukaemia! Dig deep guys, it's an amazing charity.

I'm sure photos and videos will surface at the end of the run where I'm sweating profusely and red in the face! I cannot wait to cross that finish line, even if it takes me 8 hours!

Beccy x

Cure Leukaemia fund research nurses at 15 hospitals across the UK.
