Story

Hi,

I'm going to be running/attempting my first ever half marathon in Edinburgh at the end of May to raise money for Nkhoma Hospital in Malawi. All of the money raised will be going to buy some much needed blood glucose sticks which they are in dire need of. Nkhoma hospital has strong links with Dundee University, and it is through this that I am able to go there for a full 12 weeks for my elective to work on a paediatric ward.

I am one of those intrinsically unfit people who seriously struggles with any ball sports so when I was signing up in January 'for a run' this seemed like the perfect solution! Training is now beginning to kill me, and I have already managed to fall over while out running; that alone deserves some sympathy money!

If you donate now I promise not to clog up your facebook page/inbox with ANY more fundraising things for atleast 6 months. Which will probably cut your overall spam by about half. Any donations would be very much appreciated, big or small.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
