Bedford Town Football Club & Charity Partnership (2022/23 Season)

Bedford Town Football Club is raising money for NSPCC

Eagles Charity of the Season 2022/23 · 12 September 2022

We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Each season we partner with a charity, and this season NSPCC was chosen.

On average, a child somewhere in the UK contacts NSPCC-run childline service every 25 seconds. In 2020-21, childline volunteers delivered over 200,000 counselling sessions to children and young people across the UK on the phone and online.

NSPCC estimates the volunteers delivered 2,300 counselling sessions to children living in bedfordshire last year.

Every penny helps to raise awareness, so any spare pennies or pounds that you can spare would be gratefully received to continue with the excellent work in keeping our next generations safe. Going into schools to deliver sessions has proved positive and as a football club we will be assisting the NSPCC with that in local schools, community groups (rainbow, brownies, guides, scouts etc). We can only do this with donations.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
