Story

As most of you know on the 1st of march 2015 I had a car accident which resulted in many traumatic injuries. The main injury was a Traumatic Brachial Plexus Injury! Before my accident I had never heard of it and this is the same for most people. Little research has been put into this injury compared to most which left me going through 14 hour operations with no guarantees, living through pain with them struggling to know what medication to give me. This is why I am attempting the Birmingham half marathon to raise money and give something back for the QE hospital who have been amazing but also for the Traumatic Brachial Plexus injuries group who see little recognition or awareness. This will help to go towards research and awareness although my Injury is rare compared to most, car accidents happen everyday and you can never say it will never happen to you! Please help me raise awareness! If you are able to give a little something to these great charities this can make a difference to someone in the same situation as mine

Thank you!
