Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Here at Belvoir Central Office, we have made exciting plans for our next exciting fundraising initiative and we’d like to share this with you … Tough Mudder Half!

We will be fundraising to support the amazing work that Parkinson's UK do. The cause is very close to the heart of one member of our team and their family. We would be very grateful if you could share our page and help us to raise as much as possible to help Parkinson's UK continue their work to help provide better care, awareness and treatments for those who suffer with Parkinson's. One person in every 500 has Parkinson’s which is about 127,000 people in the UK.

On the 13th May 2017, 7 of us will tackle the military-style assault course across 13 obstacles, five miles and Belvoir Castle will play host to the mud obstacles and good times. We will tackle a tricky combination of hills, woodland, water, and yes, TONS of mud.

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
