We provide skilled and compassionate care to people with a life-limiting illness.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I did the London marathon in 2003, in 4 hours and 33 minutes, just over twice the time Paula Radcliffe took in winning that year and setting the women's marathon world best.

Since I stopped playing rugby in 2010, I've been running regularly and plodded round a few half marathons.  The next challenge is another marathon aiming to get round in 4 hours.  London's loss is Brighton's gain.

But beyond the challenge of carrying 17 stone over 26.2 miles and cutting back on the beer and curry is the opportunity to raise some money for a fantastic cause in memory of our friend Sam Loweth, who sadly died in October aged 44.

Ashford Pilgrims Hospice cared for Sam in her final weeks and provided wonderful support for her family. They rely on the community for 75% of their funding.  Any donation is greatly appreciated.
