5hrs 12mins. Job done. Well the running bit, anyway. Still got some serious charity fund raising to do. Thank you all those very generous people who have sponsored me. The rest of you can still please sponsor my aching legs for Bristol University Cancer Research.

Thanks Jessi and Karen. One more day to go! This time tomorrow I'll be pounding pavement. Remember why I'm doing this, those who haven't sponsored me yet. Please give whatever you can spare.

On April 22nd 2012 I will be running the London Marathon for the University of Bristol Cancer Research fund. I got my first degree from the University of Bristol and my father also did his degree there. My dad died last year from cancer and so this is obviously a charity that is very close to my heart and hence I'm doing this event.

I ran a bit at school, many, MANY years ago and haven't done any running of note since. I have a lot of weight to lose and a lot of fitness to gain in order to do this. It's not going to be easy, it's tough and painful (and that's just the training), but I'm hoping that you can give some money to this very worthwhile cause. Thank you.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
