We provide family-based care for children to ensure every child has a loving family

Story

As most of you know I'm running the brighton marathon, 26.2 miles of road racing, or for the majority, 26.2 miles of greulling, sweaty running.

The charirty that I'm running for was introduced to me by Alex's godmother, who is one of their main fundraisers and organisers.

Hope and Homes for Children help children from run-down Central and Eastern European orphanages, and place them either back with their parents, or with families who will love them.

I know that Sue (Alex's Godmother) has visited the institutions the children are saved from, and she says that the difference it makes to the childrens' lives is amazing.

I know all of you appreciate your parents and would love to help children in a very difficult situation. So please help me to raise money in order to help more children have a supporting family.

Orphanages do not protect children. They harm them. We are working towards a day when every child can grow up in a loving family. There are millions of children across the world confined to loveless orphanages. Over 80% of them are not orphans. It doesn’t have to be this way.
