My name is Ben Lloyd, I am a 21 year old Graphic Designer from Ipswich, Suffolk.

After training for many months and running over 400 miles in the process, I have decided to run in the Great East Run Half Marathon in Ipswich on Sunday 24th September 2017.

Running is something I've always enjoyed and wanted to take up so I decided 2017 was my year to do so! This is my first half marathon so I am understandably nervous but looking forward to the challenge.

I am running in aid of Suffolk Family Carers who are a local charity that provide support, information and advice to family carers as young as 5 years old and their families across Suffolk. They campaign on issues that affect family carers to ensure their voice is heard and enable family carers to have a life of their own alongside their caring role.

Any donation, big or small is massively appreciated and will help me towards my fundraising goal as well as helping Suffolk Family Carers continue to carry out their vital work and further help family carers throughout Suffolk.
