The Lakeland 50 is one the greatest ultra-trail challenges in Europe, perhaps the world. The route weaves its way through stunning valleys, contours picturesque fells of the Lake District and cuts its own line through the amazing Lakeland topography. The course is nearly the distance of a double marathon and demands 3100m+ of ascent. I hope to finish well before the course cut off of 24 hours!

Epic Kidz is a charity who provide small grants for volunteer groups organising sporting or recreational activities for children.
