4, 3, 2, 1 challenge · 25 October 2015

Diabetes UK is the charity leading the fight against the UK's devastating and fastest growing health crisis, working to create a world where diabetes can do no harm. It’s a fight that involves all of us – sharing knowledge and taking diabetes on together. Join us.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am planning to run two marathons in a month to raise money for Diabetes UK, a charity that supports people like my niece, my colleague and my friends who have to live with the impact of either type 1 or type 2 diabetes.

Why 4,3,2,1?
Over
4 weeks in Sept/Oct 2015, I will run through 3 cities, aiming to complete 2 marathons (the Berlin marathon, and the Bristol-to-Bath marathon), as 1 average runner.

"Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity."

I am not (unfortunately) receiving free charity spots or other support for these races. Thus, I am meeting my own costs and trying to benefit Diabetes UK along the way.
