I'm running to raise crucial funds for the charity I work for, Action Tutoring. They're a national education charity dedicated to unlocking the academic potential of children and young people facing disadvantage. They do this by forging schools and harnessing the power of volunteer tutoring. We have over 2,300 amazing volunteer tutors who give up their time each week to support disadvantaged pupils to build their maths and English subject knowledge, confidence and study skills. Our aim is to increase academic performance in maths and English SATs and GCSE exams, with a view to setting them on a strong trajectory for achieving at secondary school, or opening access to further education, employment or training
