Marvins march for BLISS · 10 November 2018
As many of you know my son Marvin was born at 24 weeks after my waters breaking at 17 weeks. We were told numerous times that he wouldn't make it and to abort the pregnancy.
After an emotional phone call to my mum she called up the BLISS Foundation who gave us hope that my baby would survive and gave us advice on the best thing to do next as well as supporting us through a very rough few months. Hes had countless surgeries, blood tranfusions, and complications but he beat the odds and is now thriving. If it wasn't for BLISS and the amazing work they do, Marvin may not be here today.
BLISS is an incredible charity who aim to help premature and sick babies, to give these babies the best chance of survival and quality of life
Please join us on our walk to raise awareness on Saturday 10th November, 4pm at Poole park arc cafe.
Bring lanterns, candles, touches glowsticks and anything bright and colourful to show support to the BLISS little lights.
Please if you can spare anything at all to BLISS little lights campaign, you can donate via the just giving page.
I’ve chosen to fundraise for Bliss because I want to make a real difference to the 95,000 babies born premature or sick every year. Every donation that’s made to this page brings Bliss closer to ensuring that every baby born premature or sick in the UK has the best chance of survival and quality of life. Bliss does that by supporting parents to care for their babies, campaigning for better neonatal care and enabling life-changing research.
