So I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time now as it’s something that I hold very close to my heart. On the 10th September this year I will be participating in the great north run raising money for blood cancer uk. 

I want to do my bit and give back/raise some money for this charity because my dad suffered from one of the rarest, most aggressive forms of blood cancer (AML) and if it wasn’t for charities like these, amazing people like my dad might not be here today. 

We're a community dedicated to beating blood cancer. We do this by funding research and supporting those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. Right now, our community is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough. The day we will beat blood cancer is now in sight and the researchers are determined to finish the job.
