We provide support and information to anyone affected by cardiomyopathy

Story

Our fundraising campaign begun from the moment our 3 year old daughter passed away suddenly in 2010 and we do this in her honor.  In August 2015, Bethany's father discovered he had an abnormal ECG and following a series of tests, he was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy.  What more is that he became aware of this condition following the sudden death of one of his martial arts students whilst on holiday to a condition called Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy.

Up until these recent years, we never heard of Cardiomyopathy and most importantly, how serious it is.  There are alot of people who are unaware of the condition, let alone that they could be suffering from this and not know about it.

Cardiomyopathy UK is an extraordinary charity set up to both raise awareness of this disease and also try to get as many people to consider getting themselves checked out.

This year, we have launched the Heart Warriors Campaign to both raise funds and awareness of Cardiomyopathy by holding a number of events:

January:  Martial Arts Tournament (Birmingham)

March:  Dodgeball Tournament (Kidderminster)

June:  Bethany-Shannon Memorial Ice Hockey Festival Weekend (Coventry)

and more to follow.

So this page is to help keep a running total as we aim to beat the amount raise in previous years.
