Fundraising for LAP Research
Story
As some of you will know 2014 saw some of the toughest times to date for our family!
In February that year our Dad was diagnosed with Acute Pancreatitis Necrosis, a disease which sees severe complications & high mortality rates. Times were extremely tough and emotional but due to the amazing work of LAP, one very skilled surgeon, and our Dad's determination to fight ... he survived.
So now it's time for us to raise as much money as possible in return.
1st up Sarah and I ran a 10K Santa run in December 2014 - which helped raise 2,060 GBP.
We then raised 135 GBP from a 1st dance sweepstake organised by a friend at mine and Cameron’s wedding.
Ideas pending for our next fundraiser...
