Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I will run the Humber Bridge Half Marathon this year on the 25th of June and I am raising money for the Macmillan trust as they were there when my wife's late father Edmund was ill with cancer. The organisation is close to her heart. I never met the person who would have been my father in law; the person who would have been a grandfather to my lovely baby boy Arjun; I'll never get to share a beer with him or go to football or all the other things sons-in-law do to impress! But I can help those who helped him.
The reason for the race itself is quite simple. I turn 30 this year (on race day, in fact). There are many things in life I have not achieved, and perhaps never will. But there is a list of things that I want to achieve and then I'll run 21km before I blow out 30 candles.
So please donate generously!
