Story
Recently a dear friend of mine, Chloe was been diagnosed with a cancerous stage 4 gleoblastoma brain tumour. She is 22. I have known her for nearly 10 years, we have performed together and she helped to raise money and awareness for EDS (my disability) and for my sisters new wheelchair. Her family mean a lot to me and my family. To add to this we both know 3 others fighting cancer.
When chloe told me I decided that i did not want her to be alone, my friends and I have come uo with numerous ways to stand by Chloe, we are getting matching tattoos and we are all getting wigs for a day out when Chloe has her wig fitted. Now chloe has decided that too many people shave their head when they have chemo so she would like to leave her hair to go naturally to raise awareness of what it is like to do that, in solidarity I have decided to shave my head completely. When I mentioned this to my partner he decided to do the same. So we are building an army of soon to be baldies to raise money for the brain tumour chairty so the wonderful support and research they provide can continue to happen!
If you don't know me it is going to be a big thing to make the chop but I'm not doing it for me. I'm doing it for Chloe.
