Bitterne Community First Responders are volunteers who are trained to attend emergency calls received by South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation trust and provide life saving care until the ambulance arrives. 

We respond to medical emergencies in Bitterne and the immediate surrounding areas, including:  woolston, Bitterne Park, Northam, Southampton City Centre, West End, Midanbury, Townhill, Woodmill, and thornhil.

All our responders live or work in Bitterne or near by.  We're able to arrive on scene within minutes of a call being received.

Donations towards our work are always appreciated. All money received goes towards the cost of replacing the items used in the care of patients, training or other necessary items such as response Kits etc.
