5k a day for Cora

Blathnaid Carlin is raising money for Children's Heartbeat Trust
In memory of Cora Mcgeady
Children’s Heartbeat Trust is a local charity that provides practical and emotional support to children and young people living with congenital heart disease (CHD) in Northern Ireland. Over 200 babies are born each year in Northern Ireland with CHD. Please help us to support them. Thank you.

Story

Throughout Lent, my sister and I will be walking 5k per day to raise money for Children’s Heartbeat Trust in memory of beautiful Baby Cora McGeady. Cora lived for seven days but remains in the hearts of the Carlin and McGeady families forever.

Cora’s mummy and daddy-Laura and Anthony have already raised thousands for this amazing charity and we are hoping to do our part now too.

£1000 will pay for a paediatric first aid course for a heart family so that is our first target. We are hoping to raise £2500 in total, which would pay to support ten families travelling out of (NI) for open heart surgery.

Please support this wonderful charity and why not join us in walking 5k a day throughout Lent too!
