Nancy's Sunflowers · 31 March 2017

We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Join the Nancy and the Lord Mayor of Birmingham this spring/summer and grow one of Nancy’s giant sunflowers to help beat blood cancer!

Enter
our competition and grow the tallest sunflower you can. We ask that each person entering raises a minimum of £10 in sponsorship or makes an equivalent donation. We’ll provide you with your very own sponsorship form that you can use.

Nancy’s sunflowers is a new fundraising activity designed specifically  for children, the idea of which came about from a little girl called Nancy who was diagnosed with leukaemia aged four. To help raise money to beat her disease, she gave sunflower seeds and a sponsor form to all her classmates and asked them to grow them, gaining sponsorship from friends and family for doing so.

To take part, we simply ask that each child raises a minimum of £10 or donates £10 to through our just giving page that is specifically designed for this campaign.

When making your donation or submitted your sponsorship money please ensure you add your name to the reference or email us at Midlands@bloodwise.org.uk to confirm your name, how much you have given and the date submitted.
