Story
Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.
My decision to run the Great Scottish Run 10K was prompted by the death from cancer of a very good friend's life partner, Karen McLaren. I'm raising funds for cancer research for her, and everyone I've ever known personally who has died of cancer.
I trust my friends and acquaintances to give according to their ability. This is how I'm going to work out my contribution: Maybe you'd like to do the same:
How much did I spend last month on:
- Eating out
- Alcohol
- Chocolate
- Leisure pursuits
- Music, musical gear and other toys
Before adding them up, I reminded myself that that must have been money I could spare. Then I've added them up and said "If I spend that much in a month on those things, surely I can afford to give the same to this good cause?"
I have no idea what the total will be, but I'm committing to contributing that much, and more if it isn't enough!
Why not do the same?
