We help rebuild lives after a brain injury to empower people to live their potential

Story

Hi folks,

I have decided that over the August Bank Holiday weekend this year that I am going to walk the 115km of St. Declan's Way, from Cashel in Tipperary to Ardmore in Waterford to raise funds for Acquired Brain Injury Ireland.

Brain injury has impacted so many of our lives in different ways, and the profound and lasting changes that it can bring with it are impossible to overstate.

Every year in Ireland 19,000 people acquire a brain injury from stroke, falls, road traffic accidents, concussion, tumours, viral infections and many other causes. Acquired Brain Injury Ireland provide valuable information and supports to help people and their families recover from these injuries.

Over the past 2 years I have seen how drastically brain injury can affect lives, so I am asking, if you can afford to do so at all, to make any donation at all to help ABII to help people rebuild their lives.
