Story

Bob was one in a Million ! But sadly also one in eight men who was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and lost his heroic battle in 2009. The Smallman name in the construction industry still remains to this day, and we are proud to be driving on the Keyline Rally 2016 in memory of Bob, with the support of Smallman & Son Commercial Building Contractors. Our main reason why, is not only to raise money for Prostate UK, but to try to raise awareness of the disease throughout the network of friends and colleagues we know or have a connection with in some way. Bobs passion for the construction industry extended out from his immediate family with his older brother Michael Smallman who also sadly lost his battle with cancer in 2015, another construction super hero the former construction director of William Davis of Loughborough. His Son and Nephew continue to uphold the Smallman name for family values and quality construction, Mark at Smallman and Son as Managing Partner, and Richard Smallman Director of Lynton Developments. Well we three friends who all met through the construction industry are embarking on the 2016 Keyline Rally from Keyline Commercial offices  at Prologis Estate Swan Valley Northampton to St Tropez France .... and back ... in a 1996 Jaguar XJ6 sports saloon, just the sort of car Bob would have driven back in the day.
