Hi guys,

Some of you will already be aware, last year we decided to take part in the Salford Quays Dragon Boat Race to raise money for Barnabus which is a charity based in Manchester that helps the homeless, vulnerable and socially deprived.  

Living and working in Manchester we see first hand the plight of homelessness and the hardships people have to face.  No-one, should have to live this way, so the more we can do to help this situation the better.

Following the success of last year, we decided it was an event we just had to repeat.  Not only did we raise a huge amount of money for Barnabus, we won all three timed races.. although just missed out on going through to the final, so this year we're going in, all oars blazing!

For those of you who haven't heard of it before, it's a team building charity event where you race other organisations (in a dragon boat).  The event is held on Salford Quays and is a full day event, starting from 9:30am until 4pm.  A full team is made up of 17 people (16 + 1 drummer).  There will be three timed races throughout the day and the best time will be put forward for qualification into the grand finale, to race for... the dragon boat winning title!

Any donation towards such a good cause would be greatly appreciated by all the team participating including everyone at Boss HQ xxx
