Story
During form time this week, we have been learning more about the work that Comic Relief does to support a range of charities both in the UK and abroad.
Pupils in year 7 and 8 have been creating Superhero masks, deciding on their favourite jokes and preparing for the "Egg and Spoon" race.
In years 9, 10 and 11, pupils have been learning about the issues of homelessness and thinking about the skills they have that could be used to volunteer and support local organisations and charities in the future.
On Friday, we will celebrate Red Nose Day at Bowland by providing every child with a small "Red Nose Day" treat at breaktime followed by the Bowland Red Nose Day Quiz at lunch - with lots of prizes to be won! It would be wonderful if each pupil could donate £1 to Comic Relief.
Many thanks for your support.
