Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our event JustGiving page.

8 Teams will battle it out to be Bradfield Barrel Champions 2017! Carrying a 9 gallon barrel of beer each team will cover a 4km course taking in a steep climb from Bradfield Cricket Pavillion up to Holdsworth and a big decent finishing at the Nags Head pub.

Teams include: Bradfield Brewery, Woodhead Mountain Rescue, Baggins Barmy Army, Nags Head Mares, Stannington Splinters, Wisewood Warriors, Sheffield Scrapers and Very PC Posse - all trying their best to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men.

Over 46,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year – that's 128 men every day.

Every hour one man dies from prostate cancer – that's more than 11,000 men every year.

1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer in their lifetime.

Over 330,000 men are living with and after prostate cancer.

Let's help raise awareness and prevent this terrible disease! Show your support by donating just a £1!
