Hey everyone,

It's that time of year again where I start to punish my body again by hauling it around muddy fields, getting electrocuted, jumping in to shipping containers full of ice and swimming through stuff you don't want to imagine.... or smell!!

Last year I set myself the "100 Miles Of Mud For Macmillan" challenge in which I completed 10 separate Tough Mudder events.  I promised this year was going to be bigger and better so I am doing 15 events including Europe's Toughest Mudder which is an 8 hour overnight event starting at midnight and finishing at 8am..... my biggest challenge yet!!

Each year I let to set myself a challenge, to achieve something I didn't think I could, and even better, I get to raise money for charities that desperately need funding.

Charity choice is easy, having seen first hand how devastating cancer can be to a family I want to do all I can to ensure families get the support they need so they can care for their loved ones in their darkest hours. 

My beautiful Mum lost her battle with cancer in 2010 and it is something that changed my life forever, she is always in the forefront of my mind and she is motivation I need to get me round these challenges.
