Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Duncan Phillips was a fit 39 year old who loved playing football each week with his friends and colleagues from JaguarLandrover. In April 2013, Dunc collapsed on the pitch and died a short time later, leaving his wife, Beth, and two young sons, Sam and Tom, who are now 8 and 6. The boys are avid footballers and play weekly for Leamington Brakes in the U9s and U8s Colts teams.

Dunc had a hereditary heart condition that would have been picked up by a simple, non-invasive test, called an ECG. As a result, Beth and Leamington Brakes are keen to raise funds for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) so that they can hold a free heart screening day to test the hearts of 100 young people aged 14-35.

The Leamington Brakes footballers and Dunc's family and friends need to raise £3500 to hold a CRY heart screening day. They plan to walk, run or cycle around Draycote Water and appreciate any sponsorship or donation that you can give to help them meet their target.
