Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Injured Jockeys Fund (IJF) was founded in 1964 following the devastating accidents to Tim Brookshaw, and then Paddy Farrell in the 1964 Grand National. Both falls resulted in severe paralysis which immediately ended both their careers. Since then the Fund has helped over 1000 jockeys and their families and has paid out more than £20m in charitable assistance.

Our Vision is to improve the lives of injured jockeys and their families.

Our Mission is to provide appropriate support, in a prompt and sympathetic manner to those jockeys past or present who are injured, unable to ride or generally in need.

Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
