Children's dreams to go to school and receive an education are marred by too many barriers. A history of warefare and poverty, facilities and teachers in short supply, a lack of access to text books and supplies, having to travel treacherous, war damaged roads to get to the nearest school and family pressure to drop out and contribute to the the family income all restrict a child's ability to achieve their full potential and contribute to their community and the world.

While I know we can't save the world overnight, I think a small contribution to improving the opportunities for young girls to receive an education in Vietnam is a good place to start...
