Story
My father Brian Best died suddenly at home aged 68 on Thursday 26th November.
As a family we believe a more lasting tribute than spending money on flowers would be to make a small donation to Hearing Dogs for the Deaf. The reason for choosing this particular charity is that my father's second grandaughter, Grace, was born with severe hearing difficulties and we already support this charity in improving the quality of young people's lives.
If you really want to bring a small posie of flowers to the funeral then that is absolutely fine too.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by the UK taxpayer. So it's the most efficient way to donate.
The funeral will be held at Epping Forest Burial Park, Kiln Road, North Weald, Epping, CM16 6AD at 11am on Friday 11th December and a wake will be held afterwards at the Merchant House, 51 St Andrew Street, Hertford, SG14 1HZ. Friends and anyone who knew Brian are very welcome to attend either or both. Should you require any further information about the funeral please feel free to email me at simon.best27@googlemail.com.
