Story

Brian was a devoted husband, father, Grandy, father-in-law and friend. He was extremely generous and loving and was a well loved and much respected member of the community. He was well known in Melbourn as a fryer of fabulous fish and chips and purveyor of fishing tackle for many years.

He made significant contributions to the life of the Football club, Cricket club (of which he was President), and the restoration, after many years, of hard work in what became the beautiful QEII woodland in Barrington. All this hard work brought much respect and appreciation from many.

The last 4 weeks of his life were spent bravely and cheerfully in the Arthur Rank Hospice. His time there was made very precious by the unstinting devotion given to him by doctors, nurses, health care assistants and volunteers alike. This devotion and care extended to all of our family who were able to be with him at all times.

Please help us to support the amazing work that this charity provides.
