Story

A few months ago I started training for the Manchester marathon, not realising that soon, my world would become a much darker place. On the 15th January 2017, my eldest sister, Gwyneth, didn't turn up at work, and was later found to have passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home. The shock and grief are still indescribable. She was a wacky and wonderful woman who lived her dreams, travelling to South Africa, Kenya and Canada, taking pictures of all kinds of wildlife. She went whale watching and dived with Great White sharks - she was an incredible lady. When she was a teenager, Gwyneth had a brain tumour. Although I was very young at the time, I do remember that Christies in Manchester were fantastic at the time of her treatment, and in the years since. I needed to do something to make the world seem better, and thought that raising some money for them would be appropriate.
