I am cycling the NC 500 mile route with a few friends Andrew Ogilvie (support vehicle), John Simpson,John brown and Martin Watt.

My family was devastated to discover that my wife was diagnosed with Cancer last summer and after successful surgery and Chemotherapy we are now happily looking forward to a new chapter in our families lives. I had to stand by and watch my wife be brave and positive while going through her treatment, she actually made it easier for myself and our daughters as she was so positive. there is nothing myself or my girls could do apart from remain positive and continue to be there and support her as best we could.
