At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In January of this year I lost my Mum to Alzheimer's, having suffered with it for ten years.  I also lost my Mum in Law to this disease five years ago after a rapid decline over two years... By taking part in this ride, I'm hoping to raise much needed funds and raise awareness of the Alzheimer's Society and the essential work that they do...  I know it won't bring either of these two very special ladies back, but I know for certain that it will help the Society, others who are suffering and because you never know if you might need their help and support for your family... So please donate whatever you can afford as it all helps...

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Hopefully one day a cure will be found, but until that day, thank you xx
