While writing Voices on the Great Wall, the book about my charity trek in aid of Children's Hospices, I have spent a considerable amount of time with B, its main character. I have laughed, wept and explored with her.  I have watched her, made fun of her, seen her come alive.  That main character is me.

I hope Voices on the Great Wall will entertain its readers and stimulate generous donations to Helen & Douglas House.  My contribution is to donate the royalties on each copy of the book to Helen & Douglas House
