LOVE Eilish 2009 Sahara Challenge · 6 November 2009

At Target Ovarian Cancer, we target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives. Stand together. Save lives.

Story

Most people in and around Buxton know Eilish Colclough. Shes a wonderful mother to five and an inspirational campaigner to raise awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer. Her daughter Emma and a team of her friends are bravely undertaking the LOVE EIlish 2009 Sahara Challenge - trekking 100km across the searing heat of the Sahara in five days. Please show your support by making a small donation - even a fiver will make a big difference!

We've given up drinking (well - almost j) been training at the gym, walking 'till our feet blistered and all because we're   doing a 100km hike across the Sahara to raise awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer.

We can’t believe how little we all knew about a disease which kills four times more women each year than cervical cancer and don’t want other families to have to go through what has been for us, the hardest time of our lives”.

"The Buxton Crew"  Emma Fahy, her boyfriend and local footballing hero Colin Moss, her best friend Sadie Gee and – keeping them in check, local staff nurse and mother of two Karen Heathcote - will be joined by participants from around the world in the Sahara,
