Story

I'm running 13.1 miles at The Great North Run 2019, cycling 100 miles in the Prudential Ride London and fundraising through Hope's annual World Book Day Challenge for The Lily Foundation, a UK charity dedicated to fighting Mitochondrial Disease.

Everyday in the UK a child is born who will develop this genetic condition. Mito is debilitating, there is currently no cure and treatments are limited. Lives are cut far too short. The Lily Foundation supports those families affected, raises awareness and funds vital research to find a cure. This amazing charity has achieved so much since it was created in 2007 but they still have so much to do and I want to help them.Thank you for reading and please donate if you can and help me make a difference.
