For those of you have known me long enough you will know I had a long fight against a rare form of cancer in my late teens to mid twenties. To this day not much is known about that type of cancer, put thanks to CRUK progress has certainly been made. 

Thankfully, with the help of my family, friends and the medical professionals I came through numerous operations, multiple cycles of chemotherapy and a fair few scares along the way to be able to live my life.

The remarkable treatment and care I got from my doctors & nurses, supported through the research, knowledge and expertise of CRUK has enabled me to have two lovely children, meet the love of my life and not only live the life I have so far but enjoying and appreciating every second along the way. 

Once again I would like to give something back to those that now need that same help as I did many years ago, therefore I will be running the Great North Run on 10th September 2017 in aid of Cancer Research UK.
