I like so many others have had so many family and friends suffer with cancer, some have passed away and this is an opportunity to remember them, some have beaten it and we celebrate all of these loved ones during this fundraising and awareness campaign and some are battling with it at the moment and we want to give them hope and support. It really is a very special fundraising campaign from the Candle Of Hope ceremony which is my favourit part of it to the fun in the tents at the main 24hour event and all the fundraisers from all the teams leading up to it.

RAFFLE My team are selling tickets for a raffle where half the money received form the raffle goes to Irish Cancer society and the other half goes into the prize fund to be won, so the more tickets sold, the higher the prize fun. Tickets are €10 each

CANDLE BAGS I also have the very beautiful candle bags for sale €5 each, if you have a loved one who you would like represented at the relay you can decorate it and it will be placed in our candle of hope ceremony. You don't have to live here, you can send money and the name of the person and I can decorate the bag for you.

24HR event. I hope to do something similar to last year and do a 24 hour walk around the town of Newbridge, this brings great awareness to people about Irish Cancer Society and the Relay event. So if you would like to just sponsor me for this that would be great, this will take place in June. All donations and sponsorship no matter how big or small would be greatly appreciated.

I have another fundraiser in the planning and will inform you as soon as it is confirmed along with what we will be doing in the tent on 23rd and 24th July.
