Story
Hi everyone,
CCA Recruitment Group are looking to give something back to local charities and our first event for the Scottish team will be climbing Scafell Pike on the 01st of October which is the biggest mountain in England!
Mathew Dunn, Christopher Costello, Amna Giurgiu and Debbie Wilson will be taking on the challenge and representing for the Glasgow office. Although Jennifer Scott and Danny Caines are unable to attend they are driving hard to support our fundraising activity and will be there in spirit.
As a business we will be focusing on various projects likes this as a joint effort from our Manchester and Glasgow teams to raise lots of money to help local charities.
One of the reasons we have chosen Yorkhill (now Glasgow's Children hospital) is because it is a charity that supports and changes the lives of children but has also changed the lives of children close to Debbie Wilson and Amna Giurgiu. Here are there stories!
Debbie Wilsons Story
Chantelle Cassidy (known as Channy!) She is the beautiful niece of Debbie Wilson. Chantelle is now 23 years of age and would not be in this world without the help of Yorkhill (Glasgow's Children Hospital)
Channy has nearly had her life taken short on numerous occasions throughout the years and Yorkhill have been invaluable and saved her life! She is an inspiration to Debbie and to all her family especially her Mum and Dad - Heather and William Cassidy!
Amna Giurgius Story
Ismail Mohammed (known as troublemaker!) was born with tetralogy of fallot which is a hole in the heart and a narrowing of one of the arteries. Yorkhill refer to babies with this defect as blue babies.
Ismail had a fully corrective procedure at 4 months old and lives to keep Amna and her family on their toes at all times!
Throughout this difficult time Yorkhill was very supportive to Ismail's mum and dad Ramiza and Asif Mohammed but also the whole family who would visit regularly just to soak in the little soldier's smiles as he battled through.
This is just a snippet of the stories of children's lives that have changed through Yorkhill so please donate now to allow them to keep helping the little prince and princesses of today and tomorrow!!
Thank you and wish us luck!
CCA Team.
