Story

CCP MEN COMPLETE IN SWELTERING CONDITIONS.
BOTH ARE TEMPTED BY FUNDRAISING DOMINO CHALLENGE NEXT YEAR…

Thanks to everyone for being so generous.
I’m not sure we can claim to have enjoyed it but we were certainly motivated every step of the way.

26 miles? Who's idea was that then...
Andy and Kevin are running a marathon.
Yes, its a pub-originated idea and and no, strictly speaking they haven't done enough training.
But they are running (or at least hobbling) a very long way to raise money for a wonderful cause.

Chernobyl Children's Project

Dedicated to helping children in Belarus still suffering from the effects of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, the Charity provides month long recuperative holidays in the UK for about 250 children each year.  They also are involved in countless projects in Belarus, from bringing colour and fun to abandoned baby homes to helping found the country's first children's hospice and fostering scheme.  Visit the CCP website for more details.

There's also a personal involvement: Cat and Alex (the Marathon Men's wives!) have both been out to Belarus organise holidays in a clean part of Belarus for disabled children plus Alex and Kevin host teenagers here every summer.

It all adds up to a compelling reason to run a very long way!

Money Money Money

So please, if you can, hit Donate Now and sponsor us.  A penny, a tenner or more, it will make every step worth while.

Plus, you'll be making a huge difference to children who suffer from a man made disaster which happened long before their birth.

Thank you.
