As always I am taking part this year in memory of my beautiful mum, Martine, who lost her battle with cancer aged just 28 in 1983.

Last year I raced with my sister, my step mum and my niece, this year though I have the pleasure of taking part in Pretty Muddy (5k over obstacles......in mud....can't wait!!!!!!) with a group of my friends from work and if my contribution towards our fundraising means that one little girl somewhere will grow up with her mummy at her side then I know I have done some good.

In the mean time though I plan to have as much fun as possible with my mates getting absolutely filthy on a summers day!
