Story
Thank you for visiting our page.
We are a team of 30 employees
from CLS getting behind the British London 10k run to raise vital funds for
Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Thanks to numerous 0-10k training programmes the CLS troop (many of whom have never run before) will compete in the event on Sunday 12th July and we urge everyone to support us and get behind this great cause.
You can do this by clicking on the ‘donate now’ and donating what you can (no amount is too small or too large)!
Here’s what our money could buy:
£20 - could buy four special neonatal masks, small and delicate enough to fit a newborn baby’s face.
£50 - could give one of our families a good night’s sleep in the hospital’s parent and family accommodation, and let a poorly child stay close to mum or dad.
£100 - could buy four toys specially adapted for children to help with their rehabilitation
£650 - could fund the hospital’s 24-hour multi-faith chaplaincy service for one day, which helps families to cope with the spiritual and emotional impact of a patient’s illness.
£1,000 - could pay for a life–saving heart and lung bypass machine.
Thank you so much for supporting us and donating to such a great cause.

About Great Ormond Street
Great Ormond Street Hospital has always relied on public support even after the founding of the NHS in 1948. Our mission as a charity is to raise money to enable the hospital to continue to provide the very best care for its young patients and their families.
The support from the charity is concentrated in four main areas - redevelopment, research, medical equipment, and accommodation and welfare.
Great Ormond Street Hospital has over 240,000 patient visits each year for the rarest and most complex conditions and offers the widest range of paediatric services under one roof in Britain.
