On the 10th of September Craig and I will be taking on the 1 day grueling Scotland Coast to Coast Rat Race!  The route is a 105 mile adventure race, run-bike-run-kayak, completing 105 miles across unforgiving Highland terrain, racing from Nairn to the Isles of Glencoe.  This is the first time Craig and I have completed anything like this, with the route taking 12 hours plus. Savage!

We will be raising money for two charities:

Children with Cancer: At Children with Cancer UK we actively raise and invest money for vital specialist research to save the lives of every child with cancer and keep their family together.

Our vision is a world where every child diagnosed with cancer gets to ring their end of cancer treatment bell.

and

AberNecessities: Which is a local charity supporting underprivileged families in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
AberNecessities provides families with essential items to care for their babies and children to help alleviate some of the pressure of bringing up a young family with limited resources. Current financial pressures mean that now more than ever people need help.

Our employer TAQA will also kindly match publicly raised funds, to a reasonable amount, so anything you donate will help more than you think.
