RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Thank you for supporting our challenge

Here at Commercial Rib Charter most of our time is spent on the water. We have vast arrays of Life Saving equipment that we hope we will never need to use. However 5 of the CRC team have volunteered to spend 24hrs in a life raft wearing immersion suits.

The team will be boarding the life raft in the Lymington Yacht Haven Marina at 13:00 on Friday the 14th of April and will remain on board until 13:00 the following day.

We will be doing Facebook Live feeds throughout the challenge, so make sure you are following us. If you are local to the area then please come down to give the boys your full support day or night. Feel free to come armed with a bucket of water or the garden hose; we are sure the boys will appreciate anything that will make the experience as realistic as possible.

You can donate to the challenge here, all donations large or small will be hugely appreciated.
