Attilio's Moustache Movember - Hope For Tomorrow/St. John Ambulance

Attilio's Moustache Movember - Hope For Tomorrow/St. Johns Ambulance · 1 November 2017
Hello,
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am raising money for the Hope For Tomorrow Charity and St. John Ambulance through the Mark Benevolent Fund (MBF).
Here are my reseasons for supporting the good work of these two charities.
Hope For Tomorrow
We have agreed to purchase 10 mobile Chemotherapy Units, which cost £250,000.00 each. The Chemotherapy Units are able to take the treatment direct to the cancer patients. This means that those who are too ill to make the journey to hospital can still receive treatment that may save their life.
St. John Ambulance
St John Ambulance is a volunteer-led, charitable non-governmental organisation dedicated to the teaching and practice of first aid in England.
St John Ambulance is the nation’s leading first aid charity. Every year, more than 400,000 people learn how to save a life through their training programmes, including hundreds of thousands of young people.
Their volunteers provide first aid in their communities, keeping people safe at events, and working alongside the NHS in response to 999 calls.
They need new vehicles.
Here are just some of the things that they do:
Event services – They provide medical cover for events – from major sporting fixtures and music festivals to public gatherings.
Community first responders – Their volunteers are trained to attend emergency calls and provide care until the ambulance arrives.
Ambulance services – They play a crucial role in supporting the emergency services, responding to local incidents and major accidents.
Volunteering – The volunteers provide first aid in their communities, keeping people safe at events, and working with the NHS when lives are on the line.
Young people and schools – Over half of the people trained are under 18. They don’t just teach life-saving skills – they offer life-saving opportunities as well.
Teaching in the community – They provide people access to important skills they wouldn’t otherwise get the chance to learn.
Thanking you in anticipation of your generous support for these two charities.
