We raise funds for St Laurence, Ludlow to maintain, repair and restore the church

Story

Francesca Bingham is a Trustee of the Conservation Trust for St Laurence's in Ludlow (the Ludlow Palmers), a secular charity supporting the fabric of Ludlow's historic and beautiful church.

Two decades ago, a dozen Palmers made a sponsored pilgrimage of the final 100 miles of the Camino Santiago to raise funds for the huge roof project at St Laurence’s.  Francesca is going back in October 2019 to finish her Camino and would like to offer her final stage as an opportunity to sponsor the Conservation Trust for St. Laurence’s.  In particular we need to fund the planned restoration of the Ten Commandments window, which is one of the few surviving mediaeval stained glass windows in the country and one of only two Ten Commandments Windows.

A donor has offered a challenge grant of £300 for St. Mary Magdalene in her home village of Leintwardine, to match the amount raised for St. Laurence’s.
