Taking part in this challenge and representing Calderdale Emergency department are Chloe Gough, Fiona Sutcliffe, Emma Palmer-Hoyes, Nicola Commons, Sam Hoddy, Josh Melling and Tom Carpenter

We are a group of emergency nurses  who have decided to join in on the trusts three peak challenge.  After a tough 18 months working through the pandemic in a busy emergency department we have decided to ditch the face masks and don on our hiking boots to improve our wellbeing and raise some money for Calderdale and Huddersfield trust charities on the 25th of September 2021.

Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS charities works with the kindness and generosity of the community. They raise funds to help provide the best possible care, facilities and environment for patients, colleagues to help serve the area. Donations given to our NHS charity are used to enhance services, improve hospital environments, support the wellbeing of our NHS colleagues and provide specialist lifesaving equipment – above and beyond what NHS funding can alone deliver.

This is a great cause and very close to our hearts.  Any donations would be amazing and thank you for reading our story.
